Being a manager is tough.
Your checklist for the day is seemingly endless and employee care is by far one of the most important items on this list. In fact, the state of Missouri recorded over $200 Million in total Workmen’s Compensation benefits and medical bills paid in 2016.
Workplace injuries happen. Let’s face it: we’re human, we make mistakes. And a solid plan to deal with workplace incidents not only saves your business money, but it keeps your employees safe!
How We Can Help
At Quick Care, we have been serving businesses as their one stop employer medical clinic for almost 30 years. In that time, we’ve noticed that employers want two things:
- An affordable process
- Less hassle
Most other clinics have you waiting days for results. They also have your employee jumping from clinic to clinic to get all their Workman’s Compensation physical therapy.
Not at Quick Care.
At Quick Care, we handle the entire process in house. Not to mention, we get you drug and alcohol test results in as little as 15 minutes!
At the end of the day, keeping your employees happy and healthy is key to running a successful business. This is our mission and what Quick Care was founded on.
We can help you with:
Workman’s Compensation Services
Quick Care originally started 29 years ago as a treatment center to help treat workers who were injured on the job site. This is our specialty.
When we do a Workman’s Compensation Service for an injured worker, we:
- Communicate directly with the employer, not an insurance company
- Do post accident drug and alcohol testing (with 15 minute test results).
- Do on site x-ray exams
- Do on site physical therapy
In fact, we rarely refer clients to treatments outside of the facility. When you do this as long as we have, you get very good at doing it all yourself.
Clients choose us time and time again for these reasons.
Drug and Alcohol Testing
Are you screening a potential new hire? You can get results in as little as 15 minutes.
Did your employee have a workplace accident? Get results almost immediately.
Quick Care partners with eScreen, an Overland Park based third party technology provider. eScreen’s cloud technology scans the results of the drug test and then posts them online within 15 minutes.
Whenever you send an applicant in, you will be able to see whether they passed the drug test or not almost immediately.
For alcohol testing, we use the RBT IV which measures the the breath from the deep lungs and estimates a Blood Alcohol content level.
As an employer, a safe workplace is your highest priority. Accurate Drug and Alcohol testing is a must do to make sure of this.
If a driver misses their DOT Physical, their Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is automatically listed as invalid. Want to know the penalties for driving with an invalid CDL?
One year’s suspension. Yup, you read that right.
Imagine your driver being out of work for a year. Imagine what this would do to his family, not to mention your business!
The Department Of Transportation (DOT) requires all drivers with a CDL to have a valid physical exam done by a member of the National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners. This is required every 24 months.
At Quick Care, we don’t want you to miss this deadline. So we set out to make this process as easy as possible for your drivers.
Whenever a driver has 6 months until their next physical, we send you and them an email reminder to schedule an appointment.
Yes, it is that easy!
3 little letters have made the difference in more court cases in the past 5 decades than any lawyer or judge, and those letters are DNA.
DNA testing is used to compare the inner structure of molecules of two people. This inner structure are the building blocks of our entire self and make up everything about us.
Most DNA testing is used either to convict/prove innocent someone in court during a criminal case, or it’s used to prove/disprove the paternity or maternity of a child.
Both of these use the same methods, our DNA testing is used to help people identify the right parents of a child. In fact, it’s one of our most popular services.
It’s also over 99.99% accurate. Bottom line, if it’s capable of holding up in court, it’s reliable!
